Kloudstage Data Masking Solution:

The Kloustage Data Masking Solution allows you to Mask your Oracle cloud saas data entities in various ways. You can chose the default scrambling options, or customize your own masking patterns.

Registration

Go to Kloudstage.com and Signup for the Kloudstage platform login. You’ll have to enter the following information:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Contact Number
  • Company Name and set a password.
  • Review our terms and Privacy Policy, and “Create Account”.

Once you create account, you’ll receive an email to confirm your email address. Once you confirm your email address, you can login.


Login

To Login to Kloudstage, enter your Login name (Email Address) and Password. Click the “Sign In” button to login.

You can choose “Forgot password?” option to reset your password.


Environment Setup

Once you are logged in, setup an Oracle SaaS Cloud environment

Select “Environments” Option from the menu on left hand side to see existing environments, and “Add new environment”

From the left hand side menu, select “Environments” >> “Add new environment” button >> New Environment window will popup.

One the “New Environment” form, Enter your Oracle SaaS Cloud Pod details. You can choose Local login, or Single Sign On (SSO) login.


Policy Setup

Once you have the non-prod environment setup, you can go ahead and setup the Policy for data masking and user role management. Go to the Environment section.

You’ll see options for “Configure Policy” for first time setup, and “Update Policy” to modify the existing policy.

Configure Environment Policy to enable or Disable the fields that you want to Scramble. You can choose all fields and define how you want Kloudstage masking to work.

You can choose only those fields that you want to mask and customize the masking mechanism from this page.

Once you select the field on the left hand side and enable it, you’ll see the option to customize on the right hand section.

Below you’ll find details of each field (we continue to add new fields and entities) and how to customize them.


Date of Birth: You can choose to scramble Date of Birth data within 5 years, 2 year or make it blank.

National Identifier: You can choose to scramble SSN/NId with default policy, or make it blank.

Email: You can choose to scramble eMail with default policy, your custom policy to change email, or make it blank.


Run Activities


Once the environment is configured, you are ready to “Run Activities” to perform the masking or post refresh activities for environment. Click on the “Run Activities” button on the top of the page.

On this form, select the instance where you want to mask data, enter Username and Password for verification, and the select fields to Scramble.
